Hunters visiting Montana, Welcome! Book the Retreat or the Nook over the weekend and get access to 640 acres on the Friday and Saturday for $400 fee (email owner mt.shepherds.retreat@gmail.com). The Shepherd's Nook is ideal for a family of 4. One dog is no charge. The Nook is cozy without being cramped and the southern view is dramatic. It's pure country living, and the local wildlife are your most frequent visitors!
The Space
The Nook is over 1200 square feet of space. This area has private ground level entrances on the north and south, and private parking on the north side. Full laundry access is included for longer stays or those traveling across the country. A large bedroom offers a king size bed, and the living room has a queen size Murphy bed that folds up nicely.
Guest Access
The Nook is private with digital keypad access. There are no shared areas with the Shepherd's Retreat upstairs. All of the lower level is accessible.

June-04 20246/12/2024 The Shepherd’s Nook basement apartment at Shepherd’s Retreat is a marvelous place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, yet be close to shopping and restaurants (30 minutes to Livingston) or Yellowstone’s North Entrance (about an hour). It is well equipped for stays of any length and is pet friendly. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the comfortable king-sized bed, the hot shower, fast wifi, smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and washer/dryer. There are all manner of wildlife right outside your door. Sunrises and Sunsets are splendid. Please keep in mind that the larger Shepherd’s Retreat main house (4 bedrooms) upstairs may also be occupied. The hosts have posted quiet times of 9:00PM – 9:00 AM and the entrances to each unit are such that each unit offers privacy if you want it. We completely enjoyed our stay and are already considering a return in the future!!!

Cancellation policy
Cancellations and Refunds: The Shepherd’s Retreat, LLC. understands that sometimes plans change or emergencies happen. Most bookings are made two to nine months in advance. It is unlikely the property you have reserved will be booked if canceled within 30 days of arrival without discounting the rates heavily. Therefore, 25% of the booking amount will be retained by the Host for cancellations within 30 days of arrival, and 50% if within 7 days of arrival. In the event of a “no show,” all amounts paid are non-refundable. If any deposit is paid it will be returned in full.
